One More Semester

Some spread the word that Maybank card holders should get their card changed, because it is June and we have no space for Maybank.

It's a joke, by the way, indicating the coming of June days.

And indicating that time has changes.

It's me again, being all sentimental but then I thought like so what at least if I want to remember them again in the future, this is one of the things that I can look back again.

Looking back, I spent 9 semesters already with Loistava XI. We learnt to know each other since January 2013. We struggled for Checkpoint IGCSE in 2014. Then in 2013 we took PT3 together. In the said three years, some moved out. Then we sat for IGCSE together in November and December of 2016. And now we are counting days for SPM.

And still some are moving out, making the number registered to sit in the DewanBesar for SPM turns to 119. Nobody's fault, we are not blaming anyone. Everyone makes the best  decision that they strongly believe in, including me.

It's still wonderful that we had fought for 9 semesters together. We are still fighting for one more semester, it is just we fight in our own different respective ways. Some are still learning the new subjects they take for SPM, a lot more still trying to understand SPM with the teachers' guidance, and some will be starting their pre-university programme.

But it's okay. We had 9 semesters, hadn't we? 

We took the school reign and tried for the best.

We roared when we found out that we ranked first in IGCSE MRSM Se-Malaysia.

I don't know what else we did.

Oh yeah we cried heavily onstage together on Teacher's Day celebration.

Yeahh we had Kem Tamat Latihan Badan Beruniform together with Estrellar.

We were described as childish, remember?

And because we are the first batch of Cambridge learner for the college, the line "korang kan IGCSE" was so mainstream thrown to us by seniors and teachers in Form 1.

A lot of time this year when I look at you, me, us, I just couldn't believe it that we are Form 5 students. Some of us really are petite and short, anyway 😆 But mainly I couldn't believe that we have grown up together, for more than four years.

To the MRSM Langkawi- based LXI, let's fight for the three targets laid out. Not impossible, we know it. What we are going through  is difficult, but isn't difficulties what pressed upon the champion?
