Frozen 2

I love the first Frozen, especially for its strong sacrification theme.

Ok I can be considered ketinggalan zaman but I baru tengok Frozen 2.

Not much to be said. I love Frozen 2, and I love the small details, like their hair, their clothes, the minor background sound in each of their songs (like when Elsa lifts the ice pillars and the sound og glasses crashing in Show Yourself???) 

Like Frozen first, Froxen 2 still revolves around Elsa's self-exploration journey. (I noticed Elsa unlocks a new attire whenever she grows more confident in herself?? I think that's funny. Please refer Let It Go and Show Yourself).

I also agree though that Frozen 2 has too many songs. Almost every scenes want their own songs loh

I've read some reviews saying Elsa is born with magical powers as a gift from the nature because her mom saved her father. In my opinion, her magical power is also a curse. Elsa and Anna's paternal grandfather, King Runeard are indifferent towards magical power, and considers it as a threat. Ironically, Elsa's birth not only brings magic into the kingdom, but also into his lineage.

I am. honestly, personally touched with Show Yourself. All the journey finding Altaholland, optimistically looking for another magical creature just to know if there's someone else like her, only for Elsa to find herself back. To me, Elsa's power was given, ultimately making her the fifth spirit, not only, as Elsa said, as bridge between Arendelle and Northundral, but also to unify and completes the other four nature spirits. Also Iduna's line "you are the one you've been waiting for" in this song, to me, is the same conclusion as Frozen first's answer to the main theme; in Frozen first Elsa is Anna's true love, and in Frozen 2 she is the fifth spirit.

Also Frozen 2 includes more representation through their sides chharacter, as has been more requested in the West. As for example is Matthias the King Agnarr's bodyguard, and the Northundral tribe themselves.

Also can we note how Elsa does not even once slips when she runs and jumps and skips on the ice in Altahollan, which is actually an iceberg? But it would be unconvincing lah pulak if the Fifth Spirit keeps falling in her own element pulak kan

All in all I love Frozen 2. Show Yourself sometimes makes me cry skskksks
