Let's see where did I left off in this blog.
Okay. So in my last post I talked about there was 2 months left before entering 2022. It is currently 2022 already, it is 21 January 2022 to be exact. And in the past two months a lot has happened!
I was given new responsibilities. I fell in love. My heart was broken.
Before going further into that let me share this one quote from Kyoko Escamilla:
"Your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground.”
So far I've done:
"Your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground.”
I am still exploring, though. I have only explored a bit, and I intend to use this February, which is my upcoming semester break, to explore and walk a lot.
Yes, I have loved a lot. I virtually met this one guy on the dating app I was using. I consider it 'love' and not 'like' because, honestly, I was intentionally talking a leap of faith for him. Well, I had avoidant type of attachment. and I took the leap for him. But we turned out to not meant to be. Despite how heartbroken I still am, the good thing is I still have the sense of optimism in love in me, which means that I no longer have the avoidant attachment?
And I intend to love (romantically) a little this year. I have relatively a lot of responsibilities with year, on top of having to apply and complete my compulsory internship later, as well as start looking for a job because I am about to graduate this Quarter 4 of the year. This year will be academically and professionally hectic, and I don't intend of seriously making time for romantic love. At least, that's what I think now, in January. Hahah takowdtt
Oh, btw. I submitted my last assignment of the semester last night! So I'll have a few final exams, before I can fully enjoying my sem break.
In these past two months I also tried rock climbing a couple of times. I enjoy how it continuously challenges me while keeping my mind off things as your challenges are not static, and I also love how it makes me use muscles I don't usually use. I intend to get back to it again this sem break.
I am also starting to apply for my upcoming compulsory internship. Wish me luck!
